Greetings from from an altitude of 10 meters at N 58,45 - E 17,02 where the summers are to bright for AP but the winters are long and as dark as the Bortle zone (my backyard is Bortle 5 but both 4 and 3 are quite close).
When I am not looking at the sky I usually working on the house, kayaking, hiking, riding motorcycle or making (some) money as IT professional.

I've been lurking around here on Astrobin since last summer when I sort of restarted my astrophoto hobby with some new equipment.
But I am not exactly new to this as I did my first AP-sessions with my Canon SLR mounted on a 60mm achromat when I was twelve.
That's 42 years ago…
After that I've worked thru some other achromats and Newts with DIY webcam-solutions and mounts.
I am still mainly working with Newts (and even if I've used many APOs I have never owned one myself) with a strong focus on "budget" solutions.

Hi Tommy,

welcome to Astrobin from Germany, _the_ forum for AP.

I find AP a very nice hobby since you can learn limitless about a lot of things from hardware to software.

Welcome Tommy!

You must have very dark skies where you, quite far away from any large cities and facing east into the sea. I live in Malmö and light pollution is a pain.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.

Welcome! Those GPS coordinates seems fairly familiar from the top of my head, a fellow östgöte?

* Thanks!

You will have to look north of the "Kolmårdsbackarna" to find me ;)
I live in Nyköping but do some observations in the quite dark areas in "Vikbolandet".
