Hello and welcome. I'd like to ask everyone who has a Zwo Seastar S50 device. Has anyone else experienced that after using Seastar, It suddenly decalibrates its level. Like even if u set it to the perfect level for astrophotography, it sometimes decalibrates, and u have to reset it to the desired level. Also, when you want to find an object that is way above the horizon, sometimes the seastar doesn't turn to that object; instead, it will look down to the ground and have to reboot it. Does anyone know what's causing this um issue?
Why does Seastar Decalibrate After Use?
I have never used on but I do know that any alt/az system will have issues when trying to point near the zenith. Most systems have a no go zone around that point of a few degrees.
