Use of Virtual Moon Atlas software

Having downloaded this software I have made use a lot of the functions it performs, including identifying various craters etc. But there is little information on the website and none that I can find via Google about how load your lunar images into the software so that you can make use of the great database the software has. I have loaded an image onto the database but cannot work out how open the image in the software so that it will label your image with the topographic information. I have notice in a few U-Tube videos that images have been loaded into this software to do this but they have not mentioned how this is done. It would be great if anyone knew which part of the software  carried out image analysis of images loaded into the software.

Have you read the manual? There seems a way to create your own library of images.

Hi Andrea, Yes I did read the manual as I did manage to load an image onto the database after reading the manual but then could not find  how to load the image into the software or even what section of the software to use. There seems to be little info about other sections of the software other than the basic setup, should have another look but it was not obvious where to look at the manual. Have you had any luck with this part of the software?

Best Regards

Not that I have used it personally but I thought this would offer that possibility (specifically Libraries>Setup):

Hi Andrea, thanks for the tip,  I think that is where I put the image file but ill check it out again. This where I got stuck on how to access the file in the software just could not find an open file option. I'll have another look at the software again
