Hi all,
I recently upgraded my Camera to the ASI6200 MM Bundle - containing the ZAO OAG-L off axis guider.
I have a Skywatcher 120ED Scope with the 120ED Field Flattener.

Does anybody know what adaptor i should use to connect the 6200MM tilt plate to the Skywatcher Field Flattener?

My previous camera (ASI294mc) connected using a 44mm adaptor and i can add various rings to get to this - but this obscures some of the sensor for the field of view and leaves pretty much no space for the OAG Prism.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

You're going to need a M54 imaging train from the flattener through the OAG and Filter Wheel to the M54 faceplate on the camera.

If you buy the ZWO OAG-L and ZWO 2x7 filter wheel (which also holds 50mm round unmounted filters which is what you need) then you can just remove the M54 tilt plate from your camera and bolt it to the front of the OAG.

Then according to the SkyWatcher manual for the Esprit 120ED
https://inter-static.skywatcher.com/upfiles/en_download_caty01416868621.pdf

You're going to need to find a M62x1 (female) -> M54x0.75 (male) adapter to adapt the output threads of your flattener to aforementioned ZWO M54 Sensor Tilt Adapter Plate that you took off your camera and bolted to the ZWO OAG-L.

I'd go with a Precise Parts adapter which would be $124,

However this combo of Baader parts may work:

Baader Hyperion DT Ring HDT54/62

+

Baader M54x0.75 Gender Changer

I'm not sure if the HDT54/62 is M62x1 And m54x0.75 which is what is required to hook this all together.

Just go with the Precise Parts, they guarantee it will work.
