Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Astrophotography and image processing. I'm slowing figuring things out as I go. I was just starting to feel that I was getting some momentum, and then the forest fires started. The air quality is pretty awful right now, making it hard to gather data. I have a lot to learn with regard to processing and figured this would be a great place to absorb information. Starting out with no previous experience with apps like Photoshop and Pixinsight is a little overwhelming. I wanted to join a community where I could ask my beginner questions, and I figured there were so many talented people on this platform that I would get the answers I needed to progress.

Check out the thread below if you're just starting out.  There are many informative YouTube tutorials on astrophotography, telescope setup/troubleshooting and processing your data with PixInsight and Photoshop.  That's how I've improved, and a book or two.  'The Deep-Sky Imaging Primer' is a good book, on Amazon I think.
