Hello everyone,
last night, I took some exposures of the crescent nebula. All went fine and well, I was able to take some great OIII images. The sequence ran over night, and the equipment powerd off when done. In the morning, as I tried to take flat frames, the camera decided not to work. Every time I try to take an expusure, the timer runs, and then the software reports 'exposure failed'. The fans of the camera are running, and the filter wheel works.
My setup is:
ASi1600MM GT
ASi AIR Mini
What I've tried so far:
- Restart and reconnect equipment
- Reset ASi AIR firmware
- Connect a different camera (the 2600 works)
- Tried different 3.0 cables (no result, not a cable issue)
- Connect the camera to ASi Studio software (same result, not a Asi AIR issue)
I still want to try to connect the camera with a 2.0 cable, to check if the 3.0 port is damaged.
Are you aware of any kown issues with this camera? Kind regards,
Tim
