Hi all,

My 1000GM mount's virtual handset is showing the correct time/date (DST ON).   The location coordinates are also correct, as is the altitude.
But UTC time is off by an hour, it's an hour earlier than it should be.

Any ideas what's going on?

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,
have you checked daylight saving time settings?

Yeah, as mentioned in my post.

sorry I missed that. Too fast reading. Time zone also checked? Have you manually set the time, or got it via GPS?
do you sync it via PC? Have you connected to NINA, because it sets time via ASCOM if not disabled.

I resolved it.  I feel a bit stupid because the reason why the mount wasn't slewing to the right location is because it didn't have GPS info available.  And that is because the MGP Box that sends GPS data to the mount needs access to the sky and the roof was closed due to wind.  Duh….  ;>)

Isn't this hobby fun?  To get all of this stuff to work AT THE SAME TIME is more challenging than sending a human to the moon.
