In the next few months i will have the amount to upgrade my equipment for solar imaging. Currently, i have a single etalon Lunt ls 50 and zwo asi 178mm. I use a 2.5x powermate for close -up without losing space on sensor engaging ROI. My dilemma :  second etalon or daystar quark eyepiece ?

Hi,

I understand your dilemma. At your <0.75 Ångström a double stack setting really makes a difference. Big advantage of the QUARK Hydrogen Alpha “eyepiece”: you can use different telescopes. If you get a hydrogen alpha “eyepiece” with a half width of <0.5 you have at least a little more options than with the Lunt 50 double stack…
