I wonder if some could help please. I've had to build a new pc and in process have to reinstall all my software. My question is I cannot get my celestron cgxl to be noticed in the mount selection on phd2. Ascom drivers for everything is installed so I've curious how to select my mount to connect to phd2. The mount is connected via a USB connection as opposed to connecting through the handset.

I did notice that options for mounts had changed in phd2.

Hi,

did you install the celestron software CPWI? You need to connect the mount via CPWI first so it can be recognized by PHD2 properly. That is how it works with my CGX, which electronically is the same as the bigger L cousin.

check the usb lead. Usb cables just seem flakey in general.
