Need help with the Automatic Meridian Flip

I have been having many problems during aquisition of images when the meridian flip occurs.  I have looked at some you tube videos to see where my settings are different. I thought I had everything correct before imaging the Eagle Nebula. Set it up for about 6 hours of acquisition. The meridian flip was about to occur 90 minutes into the session. When AMF occurred the system could not acquire the image. I manually tried to reset everything and re image after the flip. This has happened numerous times and I have lost a lot of good data. I have the photo of the eagle nebula posted and another image of the area that APT thought was the Eagle. Some of the NCG objects are noted in the photo and are clearly way off from where I should have been pointed. I am using EQ Mod for the scope and Astrophotography Tools for my data acquisition. I have had the same problem when using NiNa. Any ideas why this is happening. The equipment I am running are listed with the photos.

Thank you again

The same thing happened to me this past Thursday. Imaged the Omega Nebula and when it came time to do the flip it failed. Rather than trying to reacquire the target manually I just went with the images before AMF.

Just a thought, have you set EQMOD to dialog mode? I had a lot of problems platesolving until a person on the NINA  forum spotted that.
it seems unusual that your problem occurs in different control apps so points to something else?

I will check that out this evening. I also found some more information, where if you have mount limits checked in EQ mod it causes problems during the meridian flip. I have unchecked that as well.
