Hi, I'm planning on upgrading my current motorised EQ3-2 to Star Adventurer GTI, but I'd like to keep my current tripod which is the NEQ5 I got along with the EQ3-2. I'd like to know if anyone tried such idea or has some information that would help.

The base of the GTi is pretty simple it's just a standard 3/8" so it'd be easy to make an adapter if even needed.
