I enjoyed imaging with updated N.I.N.A 3.0. but the program suddenly crashed during imaging session. Cannot recognize the ASI camera and EFW, no imaging window etc. I deleted the software and re-installed again. It now see the camera and the wheel and even allow to make sequence. But I cannot find the fits files, before it made separate date files with lights, flats. darks…. Now all I have CashInfo in the folder and no fits…. they dissapered…. with the old lights and darks….saving to someplace unknown? Help me , please, I have no idea…. I did not find the relevant subject in NINA' forum.

The default path for your templates and targets (Documents folder), config and logs (AppData folder), and wherever you save your subs stay in place upon an uninstall of NINA. If your lights and darks have suddenly been deleted I suspect you have a bigger issue with your computer, possibly hard drive failure.
You can check to see what filepath NINA is saving incoming data to by going to Options > Imaging
As mentioned backing up your data is important. I personally use Google Drive to keep my NINA folders backed up and also to transfer in coming data to a NAS.

I spent too many years as an employee of different IT departments.
Try to check all folders on the system drive, maybe the installation caused a renaming of the original folders, or try to find the exact names of the files. It will be easier if you install an 'Everything' software.

Have you validated in your new install that you have the right paths identified for where files will be stored? These would be stored in your NINA Profiles.

Adel, so sorry that happened! This is definitely one of the biggest frustrations of the hobby for sure. After you reinstalled Nina, you can go to options >imaging and find out where the folder is by default to see where they are saving to now. I am not sure why a crash of Nina would take an image folder with it, but I have never experienced Nina crashing so I'm sorry that I can't speak to that. I hope you can find them. Are you using an external drive to save your files or are you saving directly to the hard drive on the computer?

The log files remain after a reinstall (of NINA) as well, the log files show where NINA put the image files when they were created. NINA doesn't delete such files, so if they are gone (even on a de-install, or a crash, or anything else), something else happened.

Update: I did search my laptop and finally find old fits….. BIG RELIEVE …… 
Somehow NINA did use the old abandoned folder that I used two years ago with the first version…. But all my efforts to change the folder are sensless, nothing shows up in the new folder….Probably, there is a bug in the software that override the new command and save in default folder in the previous version, so updates do not effect it somehow….I am not a computer guy, sorry for my stupidity.
I just wonder HOW people could trust this software their remote telescopes? If such thing can happen - how you suppose to fix it remotely? No idea…..

Well if you hang out on the NINA Discord you see the natural tendency when an issue pops up like yours, people immediately point the blame gun at the N.I.N.A. developers. Most time they pointed the blame gun in the wrong direction.
Glad you solved your issue. I regularly back up my Profiles, Templates, and Sequences so I can easily restore if needed.
People with remote telescopes would not use N.I.N.A in the numbers it is being used in that community if N.I.N.A. was not reliable.

NINA has a path/pattern string that you can set. It allows for it to create subfolders as well as telling where folders are. If you change it, it is up to you to get it correct.
People trust that software because it works, if you pay attention to changes YOU Make in its configuration. If you actually wanted help as opposed to complaining, you could share your strings and actual paths and/or logs (and if you actually want help, the support forum on Discord is the place that the authors hang out and help people (I am not one). The paths are under Options, Imaging, and if you expand (right pointing triangle) you can specify different paths for different file types. All the tokens are listed below it.
As to fixing it remotely exactly what did you do locally that you could not have done remotely? I assume you didn't open up the computer and take out the disk drive?
If you want help understanding what is happening, providing examples and screen shots allow people to help. If you want to complain without providing real data ... well, have at it. Just don't mix up the two approaches, you confuse people.

It may be a bad cable that caused the original failure which may also explain the missing fits. But check the option tab to confirm where the files are actually being stored. NINA will also output xsif files so make sure it not outputting these files.

BTW, I just finished around 20 hours of continuous work: dark, bias and default flat frames for my Canon 6D and Sigma 40mm F/1.4 Art, ISO200 and ISO400; 15s, 30s, 45s, 60s, 90s and 120s each. Also flats for F/1.4, F/1.6 and F/1.8. All files and their stacked equivalents were immediately backed up to my NAS. You don't need to have the NAS, a few terabytes USB HDD will be OK.

I admire people who fight for the software but I also had nad experience with SIPS program, their bug somehow disable gain settings for both ASI cameras, they addmitted their fault but did nothing to fix it. ZWO tried hard but I did not pushed hard…. Anyway, the lesson learned -do not trust any software whatsoever and make always backups…

Finally I realise WHY all airplanes, submarines etc. duplicate the majoir system with manual override -they want to survive when some computer glitch would suddenly decide tobopen valve in stratosphere or on the ocean’buttom

Excellent video on setting up auto backups of templates, images, targets, PHD2 logs, profiles, etc. Backup at end of every imaging session. Original files on remote computer storage, backups and copy of images in cloud. Images are waiting in cloud next morning.

NINA 3.0 just went to release candidate status. Many, many of us are using it regularly. I do not suggest there are no bugs, and while not "released" I think its (previously) beta status is unlikely to be a real issue.
If you go to the doctor you give them symptoms, and allow them to examine you.
I never understand why people with computer issues just say "it's broken" or "it's a bug" without providing some specifics - screen shots, logs, output, etc. I guess the expectation is all programmers are psychic.
