Object beside solar disc

Mercury, Venus and Uranus are close to the sun, but not that close. But I found in Stellarium that some « minor planets » / asteroids  were close to the sun as well this day, but not at the indicated time, and I doubt they would be visible with that size (Thekla, Hedda). They are 3 to 4 UA far from the sun… they would be very small.

Do you have a non stacked image as well ? Seems the pixels are blown out, and it is really squarish…

Of course. Image was taken from my backyard, Rhodes island, Greece. The exacoordinates are:36,25,52 N _28,12,42 E.

@Ηρακλής Πιπινος I checked from Athen before you answer, but didn’t find any potential celestial body near the sun... checked ISS as well but it was far (distance between Rhode or Athens wouldn’t make such a difference in that case, it was too far away). And with a Lunt 50 it wouldn’t be that big.

I an afraid I don’t know what is was. Maybe check on a single frame, stretching it a bit. It may just be a plane or something in low orbit....

By the way, did you take flats ? It could help : it could be dust, backlit by the all the light that bounce off the Ha filter (most of the energy is reflected in those refractors)

Sorry, no flats.

Seems a bit large for a hot pixel, isn’t it ? Cosmic rays would happen only on one frame as well ?
Gremlins is most probable :-)
