Narrow vs wide. Light pollution gradient.

Ok so let me preface this by saying that I’ve put very little thought into the subject lol. 

So lets say you live somewhere that causes a strong gradient. 

Does it make sense that a narrower field of view would produce images with a less severe gradient than wide field images?

As in… a narrow field image would be easier to correct?

Thoughts?

Yes, that‘s basically correct (for my light pollution): The gradients in my 500mm FL images are far more complex than at 1600mm FL. There‘s also the possibility of using a wider-field FOV to correct the gradients in the narrower field. I‘ve used that technique and it worked well.

I can agree with Torben. Got 250mm and 1200. the gradient is stronger with 250mm
