Hi all, We are a team of four who have been doing backyard/traveler imaging for quite a while. In Oct. 2020 we got an opportunity to set up a system at a remote site and start taking advantage of the dark skies. It’s been super fun and now we are about 6 months into the journey, here we pleasantly introduce you – TeamNoctuaDSNM. The name properly describes us – Sleep-less at night, want everything to be as dark as possible, and (wishfully) with super night vision. We got plenty of practice in the backyards for equipment operation before heading out. But it’s still a sweating trip to set up the entire system and ensure everything works remotely in three nights. It is particularly fun to have a side-by-side system built, aligned, and synced, and we surely benefit from the power of a dual-scope setup.

We are flooded by data compared to what we have pre-remote-imaging. We have uploaded 42 images altogether, and they can be found by searching “TeamNoctuaDSNM” in Astrobin. While still learning/improving on processing, we are truly happy with the quality of the data, and with the produced images so far. Hope you enjoy some of our images, and more to come!
