Hello,
I have just begun setting up remote control for the setup for the first time but are having problems with the software.
Setup Details:
Basic issue we are struggling with is: the mount position as reported in SynScan-App is correct (it is pointing at that star - Achernar in this case, but that is irrelevant to the issue), but the apparent coordinates that appear in the IndigoServer are offset by some value. The attached screen shot illustrates the point:
Same problems are evident in Alt/Az
So the values are close .. but never the same .. always offset by some amount, as per above. For any session the offset is (I think) consistent (have not tested enough yet to know).
My hunch (at the moment) is that there is some zero error at start up - Indigo is assuming the start is at some actually exactly zero position, which it never is, and the error is being "retained" somehow. But why doesn't the Indigo Server just read from the mount the actual coordinates? I don't know .. tearing my hair out. Please help.

Thank you very much for assistance,
Izaak
I have just begun setting up remote control for the setup for the first time but are having problems with the software.
Setup Details:
- SkyWatcher AZ/EQ 6 Pro in EQ mode, with SkyWatcher Wifi dongle
- Indigo server v 2.0-144 / IndigoSky on Raspberry Pi 4 (1 GB) / SynScan Mount driver installed and connected
- Windoze 10 machine / Chrome browser v89.0.4389.114
- SynScan App Ver Pro 1.19.0 / Motor Board 3.6.22
Basic issue we are struggling with is: the mount position as reported in SynScan-App is correct (it is pointing at that star - Achernar in this case, but that is irrelevant to the issue), but the apparent coordinates that appear in the IndigoServer are offset by some value. The attached screen shot illustrates the point:
- RA/Dec: 1:38:30 / -57:07:44 for Mount SynScan-App
- RA/Dec: 1:54:42 / -57:01:04 for Indigo (and APT that gets data from Indigo shows the same values)
Same problems are evident in Alt/Az
