Greetings! I am 59 years old. My photography background mostly has been about wildlife and birds, specifically birds of prey using my Canon T3i camera and a 70 - 300 mm lens. Using that camera I have taken many shots of the moon and some poor attempts on constellations. I have had an enormous curiosity about Space since my childhood. I attempted to study Astronomy, but having my educational background in Health Science, I could not keep up with their application of higher math. Dropped out. That was many years ago. Recently I have ordered and awaiting shipment of an Apochromatic Doublett Telescope and Equatorial mount  Once I get oriented with the polar alignment and balancing, I will get the guide scope and a few other accessories. In Orlando, the light pollution is enormous. Besides, there are tall trees just the overhead sky is clear and through that patch, I have seen the distinct appearance of Orion Nebula, Casseopia, and few other constellations. I hope to take pictures someday after I gather my skills. Currently, I am learning about N,I.N.A and PHD2. if I find myself in a tough spot, I will reach out to the experts who enlighten this forum It is a pleasure and a privilege for a novice as I am to be writing in this forum at this stage.
