Who's using the new sequencer in NINA? Like it… hate it? I haven't played with it yet but it's looks nice. My chances to get out have been rare lately so I'm just going with what works.

I've been using it since 1.11 nightlies started to be built. It's fantastic, so I guess I'm on the "like it" team 
I especially love the custom horizon functionality, which then allows me to wait until the target is above my custom horizon and loop until it sets below my custom horizon. Great stuff!

I don't know of a video tutorial specifically about this. However, the functionality is pretty easy to set up. The main option is located in Options > General > Astrometry. There is a field which takes the path to the file with the custom latitude entries.
I can't remember if it needs to be named with a .hrz extension or not, but that's what I did. The contents of the file are simple Az Alt pairs, for however many you wish to have, such as:
0 35.80
1 35.20
2 34.70
3 34.20
4 33.70
5 33.50
6 33.40
7 33.10
8 32.50
9 32.20
10 31.90
11 31.00
12 30.40
13 30.00
14 29.70
etc.
You don't have to have every degree for the Azimuth.
Once you get that file built and configured in NINA, you can then use the loop conditions in the Advanced Sequencer as I mentioned above. You will also see your custom horizon in the mini-altitude charts used throughout NINA, such as:
James Lamb has created a nice video on YouTube for creating custom horizon files for Stellarium, but the effort to build the .hrz file should be the same as needed for NINA.

I was worried about bugs and errors I guess in the nightly builds... so I've stuck to v1.10. I take it you've had none... which is good. I'm going to update to the latest and try it out. The horizon setting sounds cool too... I can set it up to stop when I run into my neighbors roof.
Well, there were a few bugs here and there early on, but none that weren't resolved quickly. Also, Stefan, the product "owner" doesn't start releasing the nightlies until the major set of features in a particular release are stable enough. At this point though, 1.11 is very stable.

I’ve been using the basic sequencer for nearly a year now which works great but haven’t tried the advanced sequencer yet. Without any instructions I’m a little worried I might make a mistake which might lead to something unforeseen happening, is there any basic guidance on how to use it? It seems to have more functionality for coping with failures due to clouds etc. which would be great.
The custom horizon feature will be very useful for me so thank you for pointing this out @Ara

I learn most new things by reading and watching videos. A video is a good way to provide familiarity to something you've never seen or dealt with before. Here is a NINA Advanced Sequencer tutorial by PatriotAstro which does just that. It's about 40 minutes, which is long in YouTube time, but he does walk through it nicely. Also, he is kind enough to break his video down into chapters, so you can skip or jump to specific locations if you choose. I hope this helps.

The first time i looked at the advanced sequencer I was very confused, but after having used it for quite some time now I am very happy with it. The most useful function I find is the center after drift command. Meaning I can loose guiding for an hour due to clouds but once clouds go away it will platesolve and go straight back to its intended target.

Yeah, that is a good video. I still haven't used the new sequencer either, as my imaging opportunities seem to be few and far between. I don't want to "experiment" during that valuable imaging time. Gonna bite the bullet soon though, as there are some goodies available. I'm very interested in the notifications I can get from NINA, talked about here by Patriot Astro. If platesolve or autofocus fails... I can get a notification to (maybe) wake me up
So my latest image was acquired using the new sequencer. A few videos and some hands on use and it all clicks now.
I've also got the Ground Station plugin working, and I'm getting notifications to my phone via Pushover. Working great! The advanced sequencer is cool stuff! Don't be scared like I was
