Subframe selector process alert

Hi folks,
I just encountered this issue recently which applies at least to version 1.8-8-7. If you have been scratching your head why your subs are coming out way undersampled or just plain wrong, this could be the reason. I was concerned about this as I use this process in PI a lot. When you open SFS, go to the bottom and click on the wrench icon. This opens the "Subframe selector cache preferences" (attached image). By default the box next to "persistent file cache" is checked which does not make any sense but it is. You need to uncheck it as is shown in the image attached. Apparently it does not recognize any changes you make to the parameters in the process as long as this box is checked.
Anyway just an FYI
Happy processing!
Regards
Dave

Thanks! I haven't had any problems, but had never noticed the wrench icon, so it's good to know about it.

cheers,
