Hello, Pleased to see such a thriving astronomy community here!  Just joined AstroBin today. Working with a Takahashi FSQ-85EDX with flattener and as soon as weather permits a reducer. Open minded and eager to learn from you all. Have a wonderful weekend! Best wishes from Switzerland, Isa

What AstroBin really lacks is female power, the more a warm welcome from Okinawa. Good to have you aboard, Isa.
Cheers

Thank you, Robert!
Overall not too many women in astro and not sure why this is so. It's a wonderful journey! Best wishes from Mont-Vully

Hi Isa,
Salvatore has created a site with a wonderful community and a great place to display your images here on AB.  This is a great place to compare your results with others as an inspiration to get better.  As you know, astro-imaging is full of challenges so it’s very useful to compare results, learn about new equipment, and discuss techniques.  I think of astro-imaging as a totally gender neutral hobby and while it’s true that guys are the majority here on AB, there are also a LOT of very accomplished women who contribute amazing images as well—so welcome to AB!  I look forward to seeing your images.

Bonjour Christophe, Merci!
Isabel
