Hi there,
I have the StarSense auto align system fitted to my C8 AVX rig. Last night I set the telescope to 2 targets - the Horsehead nebula and the Orion nebula.
Whilst the flame nebula was near the centre of the captured image it completely missed the Horsehead. The Orion nebula was not centred either and I had to use the N,S,W,E control pad in PHP 2 to centre the image before capturing with BYE.
Whilst these work arounds are ok, they are very time consuming, I have been unable to capture any target in the centre of the camera or eyepiece for 2 years now using StarSense!
I have tried using calibrate centre, but after the mount is turned off it does not seem to retain its calibration anymore.
Any ideas? I have updated StarSense to version 01.20.19207 and I am using a Canon 750D.
Thank you.
