New to this endeavor, having bought a RASA 8, EQ6R Pro, ASI071MC Pro, ASIAIR Pro in April 2020. Quite a learning curve and helped immensely by the resources and individuals in various internet forums. Have been inspired by the images on Astrobin and just uploaded my first, a reprocess of an earlier Eastern Veil image. Bortle 6 zone in South Carolina.

Hey John, if you are in the northern part of the state (or even if you aren't) check out the Charlotte Amateur Astronomers Club. We have a decently dark sky location near Kershaw, with lots of permanent scopes set up.
