Hello!!!
My name is Jan and I am living in Cracow Poland. I am taking astronomical images from my family village Sidzina near Tatra mountains, this area have a good night sky with low light polution level (VIIRIS 2019 - ~0.2).
My journey with astronomy started from visual observations. I bought my first telescope at 2008 it was Sky-Watcher Newton 130mm/800mm. At 2016 I bought Celestron SCT 8" on NEQ6 Pro mount and then I started doing astrophotography. After that I had four years of experimenting. During this time I was replacing cameras, telescopes and finally telescope mount too.
I had following telescopes and
cameras:
My current and finally primary set for astrophotography is:
I wouldn't change it for any othes stuff now. I have also small problems with
setting the appropriate distances between camera and telescope. Fortunately my friend have lathe machine and I can ask him for help.
I have hope that I learn here more things about astrophotography images processing and also my images will be inspiration for others.
Thank you for reading,
Jan
