Blue dots next to stars on Luminance frames - Forums

Hey Astrobinners

I need help with my LRGB composition.

For some reason when I tick the L, blue dots start appearing around stars. I will attach two screenshots. Blue dot is right of the star.

What could be done about this? What is the reason for this?

The dot is already visible in RGB alone, but it really shows up clearly when you add L.
Can you post how the luminance alone looks like, and maybe each of the individual R, G, and B framess? I wonder if it could be a reflection at a particular wavelength.

*Turns out that one blue frame had a defect. Removed it and it all worked out! You can see the result in my profile.*

Hi,
I have a bit of an idea as to where this thing might come from. Can you maybe tell me the model of the camera or the sensor? There is chance that it might be caused by the so called residual bulk image effect.
