Hi - I wondered if this might result in a useful thread…having just been out in the backyard, sinking some cheap, ornamental concrete slabs in my lawn to help with easy tripod placement and stability, I wonder what other people might have added to their kit/setup for, say, under 50 pounds/euros/bucks that improved their experience.
For me there's a set of Jiodux Plastic Ground Anchors and a length of bungee cord (to pre-load my tripod), a 3D printed fine-focus assistant (pic's in my gallery), a hotshoe adapter to mount a red dot finder on my Canon and a pair of pruning shears that have just helped enormously with polar alignment
