NGC 1569 is a fantastic target for astrophotography, especially if you like irregular and starburst galaxies. I found only a handfull or so of images in Astrobin and I took the challange to invest many hours of imaging for such DSO that has an apparent small size of ~3.6' × 1.8' at a distance of ~11 million light years. SO I hope many more people will start to grow interests into this target.

What’s interesting about this Galaxy :

Starburst Galaxy: Extremely active star formation; lots of young, hot, blue stars and super star clusters.
Rich Hα Regions: Strong hydrogen-alpha emission from numerous H II regions and gas outflows.
Shape features: The galaxy shows star-forming knots, reddish Hα emission, and dust lanes.
Compact & Bright Core: Unlike larger diffuse galaxies, NGC 1569 packs its brightness in a relatively small area.

I collected approx 54 hrs total images

Luminance 4 hrs (15 sec each frame to ensure the bright core was not over saturated)
Luminance 19 hrs (90 sec each frame)
RGB 20 hours (approx less than 7 hrs each chanel )
Ha 10 hrs
