An attempt to capture the rare perspective passage of Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) across the Milky Way, close to the Eagle Nebula (M16) and Omega Nebula (M17).
The session was quite challenging — heavy haze, the comet only a few degrees above the horizon, and very limited imaging time.
A total of 50 minutes of integration, including 30 minutes with an Optolong L-eNhance filter to highlight H-alpha emission.
