This image features a barely seen galaxy in the southern hemisphere. I took this picture over two nights in December 2025 featuring the Baader Planetarium Remote Observatory at DeepSkyChile. This is a 1-m Planewave reflector (PW CDK1000) which rides on a altazimuth mount hence requireing the camera to be derotated during observation.

The image detector was a Moravian C5A-100M CMOS camera with a Sony IMX461 sensor, resolution 11664x8750 pixels, pixel size 3.76 x 3.76 µm. State-of-the-art Baader LRGB filters were used.

There are lots of interesting galaxies in the background, the most prominent of which I would like to present in separate revisions and below.
