Hey all!
I’ve been playing around with a thought about getting darks without needing to cover the scope at the end of a session and 3D printed off a filter sized disc to throw in an empty spot in my filter wheel. Has anyone tried this before?

Dark filters have been commercially available for about as long as filter wheels have been around for just this purpose. Your idea may be a bit more fun and cost effective.
