Hi dear friends of Astrobin.
This is my first topic.
I have a triplet telescope (115mm) and a ZWO ASI 1600 camera.
My data is always good, but my filter blue, generate a large stars. (please look my images)
My questions are:
Is my telescope badly correct?
Is my image scale the problem? (maybe big pixels help me?)

Ps.: Excuse my little english.

Hugs from Brazil.

Hi Maicon!
Maybe your target object has been quite low on the horizon? Low means under 35-40 degrees. I do own two APO triplets and in my experience different star sizes are happening even more the further down the object is.

Hi Michael. Thanks for your answer.
I saw your gallery and i think that the size pixel could be my "problem". Your câmeras have more than 5 microns in pixel size.
Another test. Look for any refractor telescope in astrobin, with asi1600 cameras. Almost all, have strange blue stars.
Could that be it?

Hugs Michael.

Hi Roberto.
I already use The Astronomik L3 in my setup. This filter Cut more blue spectre than The LPS-P2.
I use The L3 in front of all gear. (In Flattener)
