Here to admire the images and pick up tips on what settings I should be using initially on my DSLR, but later on a CMOS when I get it.

Current setups:
1. iOptron SkyGuider Pro, Canon 6D Mk.II, 75-300mm F/4-5.6, 50mm F/1.8 & 300mm F/5.5 primes
2. iOptron CEM25P, Celestron Powerseeker 127 eq with variety of lenses

Only really using 1. at the moment, trying to get a decent image. The CEM25P is new and haven't roadtested it yet. That's this weekend fun

Welcome! I only have been to Andalucia once, ages ago, for cycling, but next time I have a chance to get there I will bring my scope as well :-) Beautiful part of the world for sure!

Have a go at your CEM25P, I started using mine a couple of months ago and it works a treat!

Thanks Marc. It is beautiful, but surprisingly light polluted. From where I am I have to go up past Jimena or Ronda into the hills to get decent dark skies. However, i am doing my learning in my garden and compensating with a Nisi filter, longer exposures and post processing. If you do come to the region, look me up.
