in the front of the flattener is a 2 inch tread where tou can put a lpr filter in. iff you have a canon dslr you cab use a clip-in filter.

If you have the flat 73A you can unscrew the end of the barrel (where you attach the camera) entirely and the 2 inch filter will screw onto the main part just after the lens. You can then put the barrel back on over the top.
You'll need to adjust the adapter to allow for the filter. I use the optolong L-pro John mentioned and had to add 0.6mm into the focus distance.

On mine (Flat6Aiii), the filter goes inside the back cap of the flattener. I found that screwing the filter inside was really awkward for me, so I discovered another solution that I use for my 2” filters. Baader makes a “protective T-ring” for Canons. It holds a 2” filter between two halves of the assembly. They cost a bit more, but I put each of my filters in one and so I don’t have to handle the filter surface and get fingerprints on or scratch them. I realized it even has the extra spacing required built in, so you just use them like a regular T-ring.
The clip-in filters are worth looking at too; I have a couple of those too and they work great.
