IOptron Tri-Pier 360 Question

I recently bought an IOptron Tri-Pier 360 tripod for my CEM70. The tripod is made for the CEM120, but I wanted to be on the safe and stable side. The tripod is sitting on a very stable concrete foundation. Guiding is mostly very stable with total RMS < 0.5".

However, I noticed that the total setup is extremly sensitive to anything touching the mount. For example when I carefully grab the handset of the CEM70, the guiding curve wobbles quite a bit. I also found that a free-running  ethernet cable attached to the ASIAIR on the telescope makes guiding RMS about 0.2" worse compared to using a WLAN connection.

Could it be that the adjustable feet that come with the tripod have an elastic plastic buttom that makes the whole setup wobble at the slightest touch ? Are there any alternatives for the feet ? Or should I maybe just try to remove the plastic part of the feet ?

Regards, Götz

i using that tripod with my EQ6r, it has same issue like yours, i think the vibration suppression pads are so soft, so it sensitive with touching, but as long as my RMS is under 0.5, i have no worry about it
