Does your Stellarium not line up with your control software?

For weeks I have wondered why when I go to an object in APT and then look at Stellarium they are a little bit out.  It didn't cause me any issues as platesolving took care of it for me, however the answer to my problem was:

By default, the Epoch settings for your mount in ASCOM is set to "Epoch Unknown".  Change this to J2000 and make sure that Stellarium and everything else is set to J2000 and you'll find they all magically align smile

Just sharing in case anyone else was having the same issue.

Mount slewing issue may relate to coordinate/epoch alignment problems in NINA.
