Not sure how to get through equipment and acquisition stages

Last time I put an image into astrobin my equipment list was all stored and all I had to do was pick from the list. Now I can’t even find that page. It gave me some weird message that said I apparently was new at listing equipment and etc. I tried putting in the equipment i used but it seems really cumbersome and a lot of the categories were left out.

I had to migrate my equipment items into the new database.

Have you tried doing that first?

I thought it went pretty smoothly. For every item I had on record (grouped into several categories) I was asked to identify a match on the
new homogenized equipment list, done. Worked for all but three items. One the brand was known but not the detailed model - I edited by hand. It was temporarly approved, about an hour later I got a suggestion for a slight modification. For one, the brand was not know, so I added it + provided webpage - temporarly approved and confirmed about an hour later. For one (guiderscope) I could not provide a webpage (basically a rebrand of usual Chinese equipment, sold by SVBony, Omegon etc under their name), so I just used a more common alternative brand.

I have found that I actually have no idea to to migrate my equipment items. I have just been going around in circles.

Maybe we can help you if you explain the issues you're facing. A lot of items are already in the database so there is a high chance that your equipment is already there if it's not too exotic. Posting your issues to the thread I linked above my be better, so that there is only one thread dealing with migration issues.
