Hi folks, could anyone tell me the best adapter please to achieve my back focus for a Celestron edge HD8 with a reducer. The back focus required is 105 with the reducer attached. I have a ZWO 6200 camera with a back focus of 17.5 and a filter of 20mm (that makes clearly 37.5 camera and filter side). just wondering how folks are connecting the reducer to an adapter that can connect to the filter tray to make up the difference for back focus distance required. Im using the m54/m48 threads camera and filter side. Looking for adapters to connect to the reducer. Any help would be fab. Thanks

You should have a 16.5mm spacer and a 21mm spacer that came with the camera.  Add a 30mm spacer to those and you should be good.

 30 + 16.5 + 21+ 37.5=105

BTW  The HD800 is not built for a FF camera.  You will probably get a lot of vignetting, but of course that can be fixed by cropping.

Thanks, and yes it will cropped. Do you know how to connect the spacers to the reducer as i cant figure out what thread the reducer has. I have bits for reducing down m48 from 54. So next question is what thread size is on the reducer so i can order the correct bit.

Once you reduce to m48 an m48 30mm adapter should fit.
