I’m going to give this nightscape photography a go. Basically interested in what people are using for post processing. Specifically, the step where you are adding in your foreground to the Milky Way. I am a very experienced PI user and find that does a good job of the Milky Way piece, but not sure what would be best for the final composition. I’ve heard adobe Lightroom is good, possibly GIMP? Lightroom is not that expensive but trying obviously like always to save on cost. I do have a copy of recent Photoshop Elements but not sure if that is robust enough.
