C3 camera showing only five filter slots in NINA instead of seven

Hello all.

I have taken possession of my new C3 with the internal FW. However, when I connected it up to NINA only five filter slots were shown. I checked the camera and sure enough, it had seven 36mm slots which is correct. Thinking there was a problem with the particular version of NINA, I connected the C3 to another PC with NINA and got the same result. What is strange is that the name of the slots correspond with the filters I used with my previous camera (ie. LRGB and Ha). (I have yet to load the filters into the camera so could the C3 have imported from NINA the number of filters and their type from the previous camera.) Is this a NINA issue or is it something strange going on with the C3?

Odd, I have two of those and have never seen that. When you set up the FW you do want to be sure it is using the same serial/registration number as the new camera did when you set that up but that is all I can think of.

If the older camera was also a Moravian and had fewer filters, the new FW may have defaulted to the older cams serial number. I have only had the 7 filter cameras so don’t know if that could happen.

I am assuming the 64 bit ASCOM driver.

Have you check the ASCOM driver settings?
