Every now and again I go back to this new GUI interface. How do I permanently turn on simple search view where we used to have all the fields visible such as telescope, camera etc.

New is not always better with site displays. Humans are creatures of habit and the old user interface worked superbly

I should be more specific. I am using an IOS phone. Previously, top left drop down presents an explore option. In that menu I would choose advanced search. The advanced search featured a number of different filter boxes where I could search by telescope, camera and a whole bunch of other options. Below these choices, I could see images sorted by publication.

Now using the same explore, then advanced search function doesn’t present the standard filter boxes. Instead I have image themes sorted by galaxies and so on. It’s a shame having them categorised in that way in my view.

The site owner had a setting for us to switch to classic view. Please can someone navigate me to that classic view setting

If this is what you see just click the filters button next to the text box

Thanks, I just turned all themes off and saved. Then in the filter publication date and I’m presented with what I used to have. I guess it’s just more clicks to then search for something so not necessarily a step forward in my view in the UX
