Still pretty new to editing photos in pixinsight, wondering if anybody has some ideas as to why the dark regions in this photo has some halo effects going on. I’ve re edited the photo in pixinsight a couple times now to see if im strecthing the filters too much? not sure what the issue is, any suggestions are appreciated! FinalNebula-3.jpg

Maybe use a different palette or such. It’s a false colour image so anything goes…
I agree. I think what you are seeing is real but the color mapping is making it look odd.
