ADC and 10" Dobsonian

I’m having lots of issues with my truss tube dobsonian when I try to pair it with a ZWO ADC and 2x barlow.

My issue is finding focus as it seems to be somewhere ‘inside’ the tube if you know what I mean. I’ve tried shortening the tube to its smaller preset used for binos, but no luck.

Has anyone solved this riddle?

I’m starting to think I may just keep the adc for my smaller mak and refractors.

The ADC has essentially no optical power whatsoever, so the fault, if such exists, lays with the dobsonian manufacturer for making it of too short extraction for the given focuser. The correct stack for any ADC is: Barlow-ADC-Camera. With a Barlow with sufficient pupil extraction that would be sufficient to reach focus on most if not all the planetary cameras out there.
