Anyone for data sharing?

As my local weather forecast isn’t looking great for the next couple of weeks I’m wondering if anyone would like to collaborate and share data?

Please have a look through my gallery and let me know if you want any master lights to add to your own, and vice versa.

Cheers

Same here! If someone would like, I could share some master files!

@Craig Towell awesome initiative!

I’m interested in what a more experienced person might make of my data. So, more than happy to share some of my data for you to work in, it would be helpful for me to see where I could improve. Please DM me!

Hi all,

What would be best way to share the masters?

If anybody is interesting I have the masters for my latest image: M97 & M108 - Owl on a Surfboard - AstroBin

I had quite some issues with processing this one, so I’d be happy to share masters and see other results. Please DM me in case somebody is interested.

BTW: I didn’t want to limit only to latest image, I can share also data for other images. The problem is only that I have it on external drive (and often no masters, so I’d need to either share raw or create masters).

CS,

Jure

Hi Craig,

I usually use a explorer 150p with a Touptek atr585m, I can share Ha in M82, 25h and my data in M1, which you can see in my profile.

I have some data in M51 but it’s not really good.

We can talk through DM if you want.

Sara

There are some free datasets on Insight you can play around with.

I have been using Astrophotomarket for the last few months. They have master files for sale, but there is a growing data base of free files, from backyard astrophotographers like myself, available for free download. It is a very simple way for anyone can upload your masters to share with the rest of our community.

Hi Jure,

If you’re wondering about the "how" of sharing masters, that's precisely what we've been building. Happy to chat.

Thanks for commenting, i actually have a good 6 hours of Ha on the Owl but only three hours of O3, I’d love to “borrow” your O3 data?!

For some time now, I have been thinking about adding an asi533mm to go along with my asi533mc. I would love to get the Luminance master from your M51. It would give me an opportunity to see what I could do combining images from the two cameras. I am not really sure how to go about getting your file. If it is possible, just let me know. Thanks.
