Maybe this is more a direct question to Salvatore, but I am also curious if I am the only one who experienced this.

One of my replies to a comment by a fellow ABler came back with a notification that it was approved. I was quite surprised by this, since I am pretty sure that I do not use any profane or aggressive words. And in this specific reply it certainly was not the case. I criticized the current IOTD process, but fairly moderate (everybody who knows me knows how critical I am with the current status).

Since I do not believe that every comment/reply is looked at, I wonder now of course how this specific reply was even under review? A trigger word? And then I ask myself, which one of them could have caused it.

Curiosity killed the cat, still, I am more than curious how this was a comment under review at all. If you need the direct comment Salvatore, I can point you to it privately.

Happens to me quite often as well. I don’t think its your criticism of the IOTD process, as I’m part of the process and supportive of it and it still happens. The few times I’ve posted a new topic it’s come up for me too. I just figured it was some AI thing since the forums got revamped a ways back.

It’s happened to me a few times, seemingly at random. I don’t think of myself as a rabble rouser but then I did get banned for life from Cloudy Nights….

I noticed it as well just today Saturday 4-25. Wasn’t sure what was going on.

I don’t get notifications because I disabled most of them but almost every time I post since a few weeks ago I get a message my post is awaiting moderation approval.

Getting banned for life from CN probably just means that you had something useful to say. I don’t want to get banned from this site so I won’t tell you what I really think of the moderators on that site.
