I want to install/use a QHY Polemaster with my Astro-Physics Mach1 GTO. Does anyone know which adapter will fit and work with my Mach1? I see one that is made for AP 900 and 1100, will that work? Thanks

I use this - it’s mount agnostic:
Tom, thank you. Wonder if the distance from the dovetail bar to the “center” of the mount makes any difference? I see other mounts attach directly to the Mach1 RA axis.
Hi Jeff,
The Polemaster works even when there is a fairly large distance from the center of the RA axis to the dovetail bar. After all, rotation of the RA axis allows the software to project the RA axis onto the sky, from which it calculates the offset from true North, since it knows where Polaris is. I’ve used it on different mounts and always achieved extremely good polar alignment.

Maybe, it’s easy with QHY PoleMaster to Universal Adapter :
Good idea, but the Mach-1 does not have a threaded hole like the Mach-2, 900, 1100, 1150,1200 and 1600.
When I switched to a WarpAstron mount, there was no place to attach my Polemaster so I figured out a way to get it pointed in roughly the right position using a small bungie cord. Literally just “strapped it on.”
If you think about how the Polemaster works, it does not need to be perfectly aligned or on the polar axis. Anywhere and any way to solidly attach it temporarily is fine.
