Multiscope Setup 3 replies73 views

Glad to find this group. Just started using a dual set up right now I run two separate rigs on the same target. I would tandem mount but my CGME won’t carry both scopes at least I don’t want to risk it!

I use a WO FLT132 for luminance (mostly Ha) and a Z61 for everything else. I have an ASI62000 MM on the 132 and a ASI2600 MM on the Z61. Gives roughly the same FOV.

For a travel rig I plan to mount the Z61 and a 200 mm lens on the Ioptron GEM28 in tandem.

Welcome!
This is a nice setup.
In your photo the sky seems covered with trees, though!
I hope this is not the case😉

Unfortunately it is but only to the East - I also have a miriad of power and cable lines to deal with. That said I find a way!!!

The trees are getting a hair cut in a couple of weeks!

Hi John, and thanks for posting your configuration.
It is interesting the combination of different sensor sizes and directly proportional focal lenghts, in order to get similar FOVs. It's a smart idea!
All the best for 2022 and CS!
