What is this structure near NGC 2477 and NGC 2451 in Puppis? If you flip between the star and starless versions you can see it looks like an inverted U or upside down horseshoe. Its almost like a smoke ring or pressure tube - does anyone know what it is pls?

Apologies Sonny. I’ll try and upload two starless versions where I’ve marked (in GIMP) pencil lines along side the contours. If you go to revision I in my image and do a mouseover you’ll see that the tubes seem quite distinct (once you see them, you can’t unsee them).
@SonnyE you can also see it near NGC2451 in this one: https://app.astrobin.com/i/dneo0m - it’s like a hollow tube. Would love to know how these are formed!
