Hi all, my name is Tom and I've been into astronomy for a while now and recently dipped my toes into astrophotography after thinking about it for a long time. I've got fairly entry level equipment but I've managed to get some photos I'm proud of and I hope to get a couple uploaded soon.
I'm trying to keep my setup portable and lightweight so if anyone has any tips on any gear that's portable I'm all ears. I'm finding that processing is the biggest learning curve really, I've got a little bit of image processing knowledge but I've only done basic levels, curves and star reduction stuff in GIMP so far.
I'm enjoying looking through the photos here, so many great photos!
