VeraLux Curves crashes. Is it just me?

Greetings everyone!

I would like to start by congratulating @Riccardo Paterniti for his valuable contribution to Siril with the VeraLux suite.

I am not sure if it is just me, but I am experiencing crashes in VeraLux Curves. I love making those fine adjustments on different channels using the range limit function, so I would love to keep this tool in my workflow.

The Issue: When I click to grab a curve point and move it, everything is fine. However, the moment I "drop" the point (release the mouse button), the software seems to register a "ghost" input or drift. It appears to interpret the release as a new instruction to shift the curve again immediately, overlapping the previous instruction.

This "double instruction" or sensitivity overload causes VeraLux Curves to crash completely. This is just a guess as to what is actually going on. If you have any comments on the symptoms or a solution, I would highly appreciate it.

Cheers

Guy

I don't know if it is just you but it isn't me.

Not happening here. It almost sounds like a problem with your mouse or touch pad or polling of those devices. Have you ever seen that happen before in other applications?

Not happening to me. Because I don’t post process anymore.

Probably why I don’t have these sort of problems, I think. 🤔

Hi. It does not happen elsewhere, but I am coming to the conclusion that it has something to do with the mouse sensitivity or polling rate, as you mentioned. I will tweak those settings and see if it works.
