Hi everyone,
I’m building an app called “My Sky”, designed specifically for deep-sky astronomy.
I’m a deep-sky astrophotographer myself, and also an indie maker. One day, I realized how boring it felt to share my photos with friends by simply opening the system photo album and swiping again and again.
That’s when I decided to create a new way to display deep-sky photos: placing your images directly onto the celestial sphere. Instead of scrolling through a flat album, you can explore your own sky. I think it’s a more fun and modern way to present astrophotography.
The app is almost finished, and I’m currently in the process of signing up for the Apple App Store and Google Play.
My Sky will be free forever. I want to keep it clean, simple, and free from annoying ads or artificial limitations. I may accept donations in the future to help support the time I put into development.
For now, the app works fully offline. I intentionally avoided social features—My Sky is not a social network. It’s simply an alternative way to display and enjoy deep-sky photos.
