Hello, everyone.
I am having a really frustrating experience with the repair of my EQ8-R Pro mount. This week marks three months since I sent it in for repair because the tracking/guiding was terrible. They returned it to me, and it was in worse condition than when I sent it.
I sent it back under warranty, and the official service has now declared it irreparable. Since then, I have been struggling with the store to get a replacement unit or a refund, but so far I have received no response.
I have contacted Sky-Watcher directly, but have not received any reply.
Can anyone give me some advice on what I can do? I have filed a formal complaint here in Spain under consumer law, but that process can take weeks…
